Introducing our Superfine MCAO suture (Silicone Rubber-Coated Monofilament) - a precision-crafted microsurgical tool for inducing Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion (MCAO) stroke model in young rats. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this 50L910C subtype is instrumental for skilled surgeons working on rat stroke models, delivering consistent and reliable results for your experiments. Each pack contains 10 monofilaments.

Filament Specifications: The 5-0 filament size has a diameter 0.14 +/- 0.01 mm, and a total length of 30 mm, it provides superb flexibility and reduced impact on Willis Circle while maintains excellent pushability for easy handling, suitable for MCAO stroke models in rats with vulnerable vasculature.

2. Silicone Rubber Coating: With a diameter of 0.27 +/- 0.02 mm, the silicone rubber coating ensures smooth and controlled insertion, enhancing precision in your experiments. Such coating provides ideal dimensions for MCAO procedures in young rats within the body weight range of 100 +/- 10 grams. The coating extends 9-10 mm, catering to the needs of permanent MCAO or transient (less than 60 min) MCAO followed by reperfusion.
